Bells of Anguish

It is the year 1988.
You are a member of the Order for Mystical Defence, a secret society of warriors and scholars dedicated to the defence of our world,Earth, from Demons and other magical adversaries.

At this point the Order is at war with a Demon named Dichotomy and his army of hellish soldiers. They haven't yet made it to Earth but have succeeded in occupying Alia Terra, a parallel world to ours and a bridge between Earth and Infernum, the homeland of the Demons.

Using Alchemy we are able to enter Alia Terra, a dangerous place for the unprepared. Alia Terra you see, is a world like ours but different.
It was best said by our leader:
"Consider Earth as being written in a certain language. everything in it is written by that code. when it is placed in Alia Terra, written in a different language than Earth's you get chaotic changes in ourselves and our belongings"

We use Alchemy to modify our clothing and bodies to protect ourselves from Alia Terra's abrasive nature.
Guns, Swords, Magic. We use everything we can to fight the Demons and push them back to Infernum.
There have also been whispers about a new threat, known to some as Deity Wielders, and known to us as our greatest allies in the ongoing defence of our world

Bio:Last year he was visited by the Familiar named Strife. Strife told him to start the Order for Mystical defence, and Roger recruited his best friend, Ezekial Miller.

Weapon: Nodachi (2 metre samurai sword), named "The Pearly Fang of Order"

Bio: Contains the legacy of his ancestors before him, yet doesn't know yet what horrors that will bring opon him and others after him.
Weapon: A green/blue battle axe, surpisingly light yet powerful.

Roger- I sat at the long table next to Zeke Miller. The others were here too, except for Strandovitch and the new guy,Chris.
"Is Iggy gunna show?" Zeke grumbled as he stroked his full black beard. "Typical of new guys not to show up for meetings" he shook his head and the lights from the ceiling reflected off his dark sunglasses.

"Zeke. Igor's been here for a year, he's hardly new at this anymore" I chide good naturedly.

Chris

I ran into the room, looking like ten demons were after me.
"am I late?!!"

I laugh and shake my head.
"No Chris, now Iggy's late, where is he?"

I was instantly calm. I took the nearest empty chair.
"you weren't very clear when you told me what this meeting was about..."

"I thought it would make you curious..This is a routine briefing we always have before a mission into Alia Terra." I grin
Zeke nods his head rolling his shoulders in his brown leather jacket.

"Alia Whata?"

"Alia Terra." Zeke stood up. "An alternate world in which magic and myth reside. We go there to fight demons"

M face drained of color.
"well... that's an awful lot to process..."
I forced a smile.
"better then plain old nothing, I guess."
